How long do you keep my found property for?
According to the Lost Property Act of Japan, we keep found property for three months after it is reported to us. You should make sure to collect it within the specified period. Upon the lapse of this period, lost property will be transferred to the finder or the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Lost items that contain personal information will be discarded.
